Tripal @ PAG
The Tripal community will have several activities at the Plant and Animal Genome (PAG) Conference this weekend! If you will be attending PAG please consider joining us for any of these activities. Below is the list of items:
Tripal Workshop at PAG
A new workshop titled "Tripal Database Network and Initiatives" will be held at the annual Plant and Animal Genome Conference in San Diego, CA USA. The workshop will be held between 4-6:15pm on Sunday Jan 11th.
NRSP Funding
Washington State University has received a $2M National Research Support Project (NRSP) award for expansion of Tripal to develop standards, protocols and applications for data collection, storage, and analysis for crop genetic reserach. See the annoucement at WSU.
NSF DIBBs Award
The NSF funded Data Information Building Blocks (DIBBs) grant will provide expansion of web services for intra-site data exchange, integration with Galaxy for workflow coordination, and integration of Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies to speed data transfers. Tripal 2.0-rc1 Released
This release candidate provides one last opportunity for bug fixes and minor functional changes prior to the stable release of Tripal 2.0. User's are encouraged to upgrade from Tripal 2.0-alpha to this version.
